I lived for more than 1 year in Dubai. I was working for a design company and I was doing the personal assistant of the Managing Director, the personal assistant of the CEO, the receptionist and I was responsible also for administration and HR.

Very busy period but it was also very interesting. Dubai is very different than Europe and honestly… it was not the place for me.

I loved feeling safe, there you can walk with your bag opened and there are no risks, you can walk at night and don’t be afraid.

There are still a lof of negative things like it is very racists and it is a lot about appearance and showing off.

I made some friends, had some great time and a very challanging work experience where I could grow a lot. Still a very positive experience but I was happy to go back to Europe.
